Coordinator Trainee, Project Acquisition and Development

We are looking for a summer trainee in Project Acquisition and Development group. The group manages CSC's RDI portfolio's data, analyses new funding opportunities for CSC and supports proposal preparation and projects. The summer trainee will be a part of our RDI data team with various tasks including updating the data and supporting our internal development work. The trainee will also support with different administrative tasks in international RDI projects and make sure that our processes and tools are up to date.

Key competencies we are looking for:

  • Good co-operation skills

  • Self-leadership skills

  • Basic understanding on project work and data management

  • Excellent in spoken and written English

Location: Espoo

Coordinator Trainee, International Collaboration and Engagement

CSC is active in several European and global strategic initiatives. Our involvement in these initiatives focuses on supporting the development of targeted ICT solutions and on facilitating the engagement of Finnish stakeholders. 

The selected person will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the organization of international events (for example OSSYM 2025, the 7th International Open Search Symposium and the EOSC Symposium 2025)

  • Supporting CSC in increasing its visibility in Europe and beyond (for example by writing articles on CSC activities, taking care of social media activities, etc)

  • Supporting the team in the execution of EC-funded projects (e.g. EOSC EDEN, FIDELIS, EOSC ENTRUST)

Key competencies we are looking for:

  • Good qualitative analytical skills, including experienced use of Excel

  • Flexibility and balancing between different tasks

  • Very good interpersonal and communication skills

  • Fluent English, both written and spoken

Location: Espoo

Coordinator Trainee, Project Management

We are looking for Coordinator Trainee to join group that provides essential support services to manage CSC’s EuroHPC contract portfolio, administrative processes, reporting needs and tailored engagement activities. The group provides support for activities related to high-profile initiatives like LUMI and other special projects like the EuroHPC Federation Platform.

The selected person will be responsible for:

  • Support for the project management offices in various tasks related to project and consortium management

  • Support for tailored engagement activities targeting key stakeholders including EuroHPC, consortium members, and the broader community.

Key competencies we are looking for:

  • Very good interpersonal and communication skills

  • Fluent English, both written and spoken

  • Good time management, flexibility and balancing between different tasks

Location: Espoo

Job requirements

Our summer trainees usually work from May to August, but other dates are also possible. The duration is usually 3–4 months.

Traineeship is paid. The salary depends on the stage of studies but is at least 2100 €/month.
