We are now looking for a skilled HPC Developer to join our team working on cutting-edge computational science projects. This role focuses on high-performance computing (HPC) programming, GPU porting, and optimization of scientific applications. User support and training are also part of the job.

Your key responsibilities will be: 

  • Developing HPC software in computational science research projects. 

  • Porting existing codes to GPU architectures and optimize for performance. 

  • Collaborating with scientists and engineers to integrate computational solutions into research workflows. 

  • Profiling and tuning applications for scalability on modern supercomputing platforms. 

  • Reporting, documenting code and providing technical support for project stakeholders. 

  • User support and training in HPC programming. 

 

What we expect

To be successful in the role, you need: 

  • Strong programming skills in C/C++, Fortran, and/or Python 

  • Experience in GPU programming (CUDA, HIP, OpenMP or OpenACC) 

  • Experience in parallel programming (MPI, OpenMP), and performance optimization 

  • Familiarity with HPC environments,  

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team 

We also value: 

  • Knowledge of modern GPU architectures 

  • Experience with profiling tools and performance analysis 

  • Experience in computational science
