Our team responds developing data management skills of our customers and end users​. We develop data lifecycle management, architecture, knowledge management, training and guidance. We are an enthusiastic group with different backgrounds from various scientific fields and information sciences.

In this position you will be assisting and supporting the design of data life-cycle management for creating data products. You will be contributing and assisting in facilitating interoperability of systems and data governance including FAIR and machine actionable design of data models within assigned projects. In addition, you will be supporting effective communication and information exchange, system thinking and modelling tools, information architecture tools and collaboration platforms and you get to familiarize with data governance, data policies, project quality standards, EOSC policies and common standards. You will be assisting with technical planning and reporting, possibly including the preparation and submission of deliverables and contributions to project reviews, deliverables and design and reporting of workshops.

This is a fixed term position for 6 months.

What we expect:

·       Studies in information or applied data sciences, or equivalent

·       Good interpersonal & communication skills, eagerness for performance driven targets with the ability to engage effectively with diverse teams at CSC and external stakeholders.

·       Excellent Finnish and English, and interest to assist in facilitating workshops and e.g. to development of ontologies in both languages.
