We are now looking for a Contract Specialist to join our jovial and motivated team of contract and data protection experts in Espoo. This is a fixed-term parental leave substitute position until end of August 2026.

You will be at the heart of contract work for major European scientific and research development programs such as world-class initiatives LUMI AI Factory and Quantum Computing. You support pre-contract preparations, draft and negotiate agreements. You work with international consortium, collaboration, and administrative contracts but you will also support negotiating with Finnish customers and other national stakeholders.

You work closely with project managers, finance, and business unit leads to turn R&D initiatives into solid agreements. You collaborate and negotiate with national and European stakeholders to make sure our contracts support shared goals. You combine your legal expertise with business understanding to support CSC’s large programs and customer cases.

What we are looking for

• Relevant higher education degree

• 1-2 years of solid experience in contract work (e.g. in the fields of international research or ICT sector)

• Proven experience in drafting international contracts and translating business initiatives into clear legal terms

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills in Finnish and English, both written and spoken

• Strong commitment to contributing as part of a team

• Ability to present your views clearly and professionally

• Structured and solution-oriented approach to your work
