Summer Trainee, International Relations and Policies
The focus of the International Relations & Policies group is to strengthen CSC's global engagement and impact, and to enhance CSC’s position as a key player in the international science, technology, and innovation landscape.
We are looking for a trainee to support the work of the International Relations & Policies group. In this role, you will assist in international cooperation and policy-related activities.
Key responsibilities for the trainee include:
helping with logistics and preparations for international visits and events,
assisting in communication efforts and drafting position papers, preparing policy updates and assisting with administrative tasks in international RDI projects.
What we expect from you:
Good co-operation skills
Self leadership skills
Basic understanding on relevant policies and international relations work
Excellent in spoken and written English.
Summer Trainee, International Projects Administration and Communications
The Contracts, Administration, Reporting and Engagement group provides essential support services to manage CSC’s EuroHPC contract portfolio, administrative processes, reporting needs and tailored engagement activities.
The trainee will join the group providing support for activities related to high-profile initiatives like LUMI and the LUMI AI Factory and related projects as well as other initiatives like the EuroHPC Federation Platform including:
Support for the project management offices in various tasks related to project and consortium management
Support for tailored outreach, communication and engagement activities targeting key stakeholders including EuroHPC, consortium members, user communities and the broader public.
What we expect from you:

Summer Trainee, International Engagement
The Strategic European Engagement and Coordination group supports CSC’s global and European strategic engagement. The team works to strengthen CSC’s position as a trusted partner in Europe by coordinating European-level activities, monitoring emerging EU initiatives, and supporting the involvement of different business units. The group also identifies new business opportunities for CSC and helps translate European developments into concrete actions for the organisation.
The trainee will support the SEEC team in consolidating the CSC’s position as trusted partner in Europe.
Key responsibilities for the trainee include:
Support the engagement and communication activities part of the EOSC EDEN, FIDELIS and EOSC United projects
Desktop research studies and landscape analysis
Supporting the execution of EC-funded projects
What we expect from you:
Good qualitative analytical skills, including experienced use of Excel
Flexibility and multi-tasking
Very good interpersonal and communication skills
Fluent English, both written and oral

Employees can also take advantage of a lunch benefit during the workday.
Our summer trainees usually work from May to August, but other dates are also possible. The duration is usually 3–4 months.
Traineeship is paid. The salary depends on the stage of studies but is at least 2100 €/month.
