We are looking for a Coordinator Trainee to LUMI AI Factory Services in Espoo. LUMI AI Factory Services has a mission to support leading Research, Development and Innovation initiatives and to develop novel solutions for AI, using the largest AI platforms in Europe, in a sustainable manner.  

The trainee will support the AI ecosystem development and customer operations group at LUMI AI Factory. The role focuses on practical assistance in ecosystem coordination, engagement activities, and community interactions related to national and European AI networks.

Key responsibilities for the trainee include:

  • Supporting ecosystem project managers in planning and implementing engagement and communication activities with national and European LUMI AI Factory stakeholders and networks

  • Assisting in interactions with the AI community, including the organisation of events and trainings

  • Engaging with users and visitors of Otaniemi AI Hub, including students, start-ups, SMEs, and academic researchers

  • Supporting customer- and community-related operational tasks

Key competencies we are looking for:

  • Very good interpersonal and communication skills

  • Solution-oriented, systematic working approach, but flexibility to adapt to changes

  • Sincere interest in learning the AI domain and AI innovation communities, preferably demonstrated with related studies and/or having an active role e.g. in a start-up community       

  • Fluent English language skills, both written and oral

  • M.Sc. studies close to completion is preferred

Employees can also take advantage of a lunch benefit during the workday.

Our summer trainees usually work from May to August, but other dates are also possible. The duration is usually 3–4 months.

Traineeship is paid. The salary depends on the stage of studies but is at least 2100 €/month.
