Eviden Undergraduate Scholarships for CSC Summer School in High-Performance Computing 2026

Please note that this is not a paid position at CSC!

Eviden, the technology partner behind the Roihu supercomputer, is sponsoring two scholarships for CSC Summer School in High-Performance Computing 2026. The scholarship covers the participation fee and moderate travel costs within Finland (e.g., train fares).

How to apply for scholarship:

1. Eligibility requirement: scholarships are for undergraduate students enrolled in Finnish higher education institutions (no Bachelor's degree at the time of the application)

2. Prepare your CV and a cover letter that explains:

   • Why you are interested in high-performance computing and your motivation to attend the summer school

   • How attending the summer school will benefit your studies and/or career plans

   • Your current skills in Linux, programming, and IT (see the prerequisite knowledge in the summer school website)

3. Submit your application. The deadline for applications is March 1, 2026, but please do not delay submitting your application, as we will be evaluating candidates on a rolling basis and may make selections prior to the deadline.
